dog day sunrise

we care.....

i work at samsung. it is a good job. i am in charge of the legal team. i am paid well. my hours are long. i like my job.

i spent this weekend with my family. we went to samsung plaza. we bought some things for the house - a new lounge, some new sheets, and a water bowl for the dog.

i also bought some new clothes that i desperately needed. a new burberry hat, some gucci glasses, and some prada pants. the kids also needed some new osh kosh bgosh outfits. they look cute. my wife also needed a new bean pole polo shirt and some tommy hilfiger socks.

afterwards we went to the food plaza on the roof. we ate cheeseburgers, fries and coke. after that we had a baskin and robbins ice cream.

we then went to the movie cinema. we watched 300. we had popcorn and coke.

we did the grocery shopping for the week. diet yoghurt. oreos. poptarts. coke.

we then drove home in our k(i)a. i filled up with petrol on the way.

it was an expensive weekend, so i put it all on my samsung finance card.

i work at samsung. it is a good job. i am.........

perhaps i didn't write with enough sarcasm.

i don't work at samsung and that wasn't a plug for all of those brands, it was a reflection of what i saw on the weekend. no shit, these people here seem to live and die for the company! so much so that they really don't ever have to go home. everything is provided for them, as long as the economy machine keeps chugging, chugging, chugging.....

so katyzzz, perhaps i am not the lucky one? and cib, i would never work long hours for the man... there just too much else out there to do. i only need enough to get me by, comfortably.

Oh my god, I can't believe you drive a Kia. Where's your Mercedes, BMW or Hummer? How can you possibly be a slave to consumerism without the right car.

yeah but my rolex told me i was missing the oprah winfrey show. so i turned on my sony plasma, fired up the bang and olufsen surround and snuggled into a bottle of hennesy.

this feels like that fortunately/unfortunately thing! unfortunately......
